The Creative Lead will report to the Creative Director working Hybrid at our Criterion studio

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Creative Director to develop the Vision for the Campaigns in Battlefield
  • Oversee development process from concept to final release collaborating with design, art, programming, and production teams.
  • A focus and understanding on Experience and encounter design
  • Work with Narrative, Level design, Cinematics and Audio to bring experiences together ensuring continuity and creative agreement
  • Ensure the game meets quality standards and player expectations
  • Adjust game design based on feedback and player testing results.
  • Present project updates to senior management.
  • Review all game design content and assets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to design team members, promoting a positive and creative and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate to ensure the game is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with external partners, work with marketing and PR teams to promote the game where needed.
  • Stay updated with competitors, industry trends and incorporate new technologies
  • Requirements
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in game development in a Creative leadership role.
    • Experienced with successful game projects, first person shooter games but also acceptable would be in Single Player / Campaign experiences
    • Experience creating innovative, immersive, high quality gaming experiences.
    • Inspire and motivate a team.
    • Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
    • Experience with play testing and gathering player feedback.
    • You will manage budgets and resources
    • Experience with multiple game development tools and software.
    • Experience with project management methodologies.
    • Deep passion for video games both as a creator and as a player
    • Interest in a varied genre of games, especially first person shooters and military themed ones
