Criterion Capital is seeking a Senior Site Manager to help deliver a commercial-to-hotel conversion based in Central London. The role will include dealing with the day-to-day on-site management of the site. The project is a 500-room hotel refurbishment that will run for at least 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day management including taking corrective action where necessary, and progressing them through to completion.
  • Liaise with project managers with all daily tasks relating to the site.
  • Provide regular information and reports on progress and achievement of key milestones and project objectives.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept and documents filed.
  • Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency of delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, equality and diversity and quality.
  • Carry out other duties from time to time as required by the employer.

About You

  • Expertise in site management construction across a range of building and use types.
  • 5 years experience of effectively site managing construction schemes and people.
  • Excellent understanding of construction technology including design and construction defects and how to avoid them.
  • Experience in residential or hotel conversion is ideal.
