Piccadilly Construction, our in-house Contracting Management Team, is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to review and develop the current quality systems and to manage and ensure that our construction projects meet the required quality control standards. Our projects are predominantly based in London and consist of residential re-cladding, High Rise extensions, & new build along with Cut & Carve, change of use and new build Hotels and commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and improve the current quality control protocols for the business.
- Creating and implementing procedures to ensure that our project adheres to established quality standards.
- Conducting regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and processes to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
- Tracking quality metrics, preparing reports, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Providing training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Ensuring that the project adheres to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Regularly visiting sites to set up and audit all aspects of quality.
About You:
- Expertise in the quality control process, ideally within residential, hotel sectors.
- Experience of effectively managing quality control.
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and its requirements regarding Quality control would be an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of construction technology including design and construction defects and how to avoid them.
