Criterion Capital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock & Inventory Manager to oversee the management, control, and optimization of construction materials, tools, and equipment across our projects. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely availability of materials, cost control, and compliance with company and safety standards to support efficient construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage day-to-day inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment across sites and warehouses
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems and manual logs where required
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, or material wastage
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Procurement & Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and site engineers to forecast material requirements
- Raise purchase requisitions and track deliveries to ensure timely supply to construction sites
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all construction materials
- Cost & Asset Management
- Track material usage and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Minimise losses due to damage, theft, or mismanagement
- Maintain records of company-owned tools and equipment, including issuance and returns
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, construction standards, and health & safety regulations
- Prepare regular inventory reports for management, including stock status, variances, and usage trends
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and asset management
- Team & Site Support
- Supervise storekeepers or inventory staff if applicable
- Train site staff on proper material handling and inventory procedures
- Work closely with site teams to resolve material-related issues quickly
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of inventory or store management experience, preferably in construction or real estate development
- Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Experience with inventory management software and MS Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites or projects simultaneously
