Criterion Capital is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to support the delivery of high-quality city-centre hotel projects across the UK. This is a key site-based role, responsible for managing electrical services from first fix through to testing, commissioning, and handover on premium hospitality developments.

The Role

As Electrical Site Manager, you will lead all electrical activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
  • Manage day-to-day electrical site activities on hotel construction and refurbishment projects
  • Coordinate electrical works with the main contractor, consultants, and other trades
  • Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, and hotel brand standards
  • Monitor programme performance and drive works to meet key milestones
  • Attend site meetings and provide clear progress updates
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Lead electrical health and safety in line with CDM and HSE regulations
    • Prepare and manage RAMS
    • Deliver toolbox talks and site safety briefings
    • Ensure compliance with BS7671, UK building regulations, and industry standards
    • Inspect electrical installations for quality and technical compliance
    • Manage snagging, defect rectification, and close-out activities
    • Ensure readiness for testing, inspection, and commissioning
    • Liaise with commissioning engineers, consultants, and client representatives
  • Team & Subcontractor Management
    • Supervise electrical operatives and specialist subcontractors on site
    • Plan labour and resources efficiently to meet programme demands
    • Monitor productivity and resolve technical or coordination issues
  • Commercial & Reporting
    • Support procurement of materials and equipment
    • Track progress against programme and budget
    • Identify variations and assist with valuations
    • Provide accurate weekly progress reports to the project team
