Role Overview:

Piccadilly Construction, our in-house Contraction Management Team, is seeking a Finishing Manager to help snag and handover a commercial to hotel conversion based in Central London. The role will include dealing with the day to day on-site management identifying snags and defects to a high standard. The project is a 500 room hotel refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day snagging including taking corrective action where necessary, and progressing them through to completion.
  • To liaise with site and project managers to deliver the finishing phase of the project.
  • To provide regular information and reports on progress and achievement of key milestones and project objectives.
  • To ensure accurate records are kept and documents filed.
  • To lead and motivate site teams, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency of delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, equality and diversity and quality.
  • Carry out other duties from time to time as required by the employer.

About You:

  • Expertise in the finishing construction process across a range of building and use types.
  • 2 years experience of effectively managing snagging construction schemes and people.
  • Excellent understanding of construction technology including design and construction defects and how to avoid them.
  • Experience in residential or hotel conversion experience is ideal.
