Role Overview:
Criterion Capital is seeking a Finishing Manager to help snag and handover a commercial to hotel conversion based in Central London. The role will include dealing with the day to day on-site management identifying snags and defects to a high standard. The role will continue to xmas or slightly after.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day snagging including taking corrective action where necessary, and progressing them through to completion.
- To liaise with site and project managers to deliver the finishing phase the project.
- To provide regular information and reports on progress and achievement of key milestones and project objectives.
- To ensure accurate records are kept and documents filed.
- To lead and motivate site teams, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency of delivery.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, equality and diversity and quality
- Carry out other duties from time to time as required by the employer.
About You:
- Expertise in the finishing construction process across a range of building and use types
- 2 years experience of effectively managing snagging construction schemes and people,
- Excellent understanding of construction technology including design and construction defects and how to avoid them.
- Experience in residential or hotel conversion experience is ideal
