Criterion Capital is seeking a Construction Site Manager to help manage and monitor a commercial to hotel fit out based in Central London. The role will include dealing with the day to day on-site management running all aspects of the job.
The role will include:
- Dealing with the day to day on-site management and coordination of site management, labour and sub-contractors, ensuring that projects are delivered to the required quality, budget and timescales.
- Responsible for day to day management of construction projects including taking corrective action where necessary, and progressing them through to completion.
- Liaising with contractors, architects, quantity surveyors and others to deliver the construction phase of a range of projects.
- Providing regular information and reports on progress and achievement of key milestones and project objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, equality and diversity and quality.
Requirements:
- Expertise in the construction process across a range of building and use types.
- ~2 years experience of effectively managing construction schemes and people.
- Excellent understanding of construction technology including design and construction defects and how to avoid them.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to work with and get results from third party suppliers, contractors and consultants.
- Ability to produce and implement construction programmes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
