Criterion Capital are seeking a Project Coordinator/Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of projects from early briefing through to approvals and coordination. Criterion Capital are a privately-held real estate company based in London that owns, develops and manages a portfolio of prime commercial, residential and hotel properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior staff in preparing client briefs and defining project requirements.
- Carry out background research, including planning history, site constraints, and technical information.
- Procure and coordinate specialist consultants (e.g., structural, M&E, ecology, fire, environmental).
- Prepare and manage Planning, discharge of planning Conditions, and Building Regulation submissions, and track progress.
- Liaise with statutory bodies, utility providers, and external stakeholders.
- Review design and consultant documents to ensure they meet project objectives.
- Coordinate project information, documentation, and key deliverables.
- Attend client, consultant, and internal meetings as a project representative.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction project management or technical coordination.
- Strong understanding of planning processes, design procurement, and construction best practice.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and MS Project.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
