Audit and Compliance Coordinator in St Albans

ISO 9001 Audit & Compliance Officer Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire - 4 days office-based, 1 day WFH Excellent benefits package This role requires regular travel to St Albans 4 days per week, so please ensure the location is realistically commutable before applying. An established international organisation with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and maintaining exceptionally high standards. You'll join a warm, close-knit Compliance team of 3, all of whom have been with the business for between 5-15 years, offering a huge amount of knowledge and support. This is a hands-on ISO auditing role, with approximately 2-3 days per week focused on audit activity across the business. Plan, conduct and document internal ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits across departments. Support wider compliance activity across the business, including maintaining policies and procedures, risk management, GDPR and ensuring ongoing adherence to regulatory and ISO requirements. Produce clear audit reports and manage corrective actions through to completion, proactively following up with departments and maintaining the audit tracker. Support external ISO audits, management reviews and wider Quality & Environmental Management System activities. Strong practical ISO 9001 knowledge and hands-on internal auditing experience. Compliance exposure, ideally with ISO 14001 Warm, approachable and confident working with people across the business - someone who can build relationships and positively encourage others to understand the importance of following compliant processes.
