Domestic Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain the appearance of all flooring types.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning tasks.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to create a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Assist with janitorial tasks in commercial settings as needed, ensuring all areas are clean and presentable.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement effective cleaning strategies and schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing time effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
