We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day operations. This is a varied role with opportunities for growth and development, and a hybrid working environment with some remote working.
The successful candidate will help ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations, support billing reconciliation and audit processes, and assist with client communications related to financial matters.
- Accounts Receivable Support
- Reconcile and audit billing files for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with monitoring outstanding balances and payment statuses.
- Handle professional client communications regarding account queries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Accounts Payable
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that invoices are paid on time and assisting with payment run preparation.
- Processing and reviewing employee expense submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Communicating with vendors and liaising with internal teams across the business to resolve invoice and payment queries and/or discrepancies.
- General Finance Support
- Assisting with month-end close activities.
- Providing support during our yearly audit by gathering documentation and answering inquiries.
- Assisting with any other ad hoc tasks that may be required.
You will work closely with our operations teams to ensure that billing files are reconciled accurately and supplier invoices are correct. You will also work closely with other members of the finance team, assisting with ad hoc duties as required.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a positive and adaptable personality.
- Experience in an office-based role.
- Strong communication skills – Effective communication in this role is necessary for interacting with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- This position will be interacting with people in several different countries and time zones, where English may not be people’s first language.
- Prior experience in finance is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP Concur is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Business proficiency in Spanish, German or French is an advantage, but not necessary.
