We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive finance assistant to support our finance team with day‑to‑day operations. This is a varied role with opportunities for growth and development, and a hybrid working environment with some remote working.
What You Will Work On
- You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day finance operations, supporting billing reconciliation and audit processes, and assisting with client communications related to financial matters.
- Accounts Receivable Support
- Reconcile and audit billing files for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with monitoring outstanding balances and payment statuses.
- Handle professional client communications regarding account queries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoices are paid on time and assist with payment run preparation.
- Process and review employee expense submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Communicate with vendors and liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries and discrepancies.
- General Finance Support
- Assist with month‑end close activities.
- Provide support during the yearly audit by gathering documentation and answering inquiries.
- Assist with any other ad‑hoc tasks that may be required.
Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with our operations teams to ensure that billing files are reconciled accurately and supplier invoices are correct. You will also work closely with other members of the finance team, assisting with ad‑hoc duties as required.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a positive, adaptable personality.
- Previous experience in an office‑based role.
- Effective communication skills in English; ability to interact with clients across multiple time zones.
- Experience in finance is an advantage but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP Concur is an advantage but not required.
- Business proficiency in Spanish, German, or French is an advantage but not required.
