We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness.

Location

Based in London office with homeworking is considered in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.

About The Role

Crisis has outlined a vision to reduce all forms of homelessness by 2035.

To achieve this, we have three organisational aims: securing policies that solve homelessness, delivering services that end homelessness for people and places, and building a community of people across Britain that are helping to end homelessness.

We plan in three‑year cycles and our 2025‑28 strategic plan sets priorities including national influencing, place‑based system change, direct service delivery, audience engagement and becoming a landlord for the first time in our history.

At the heart of this ambition is a strategic objective to achieve a sustainable operating model that ensures the health of the organisation and delivers our strategy.

To do this we need to grow revenue, diversify risk, and optimise income generation.

A brand, marketing and fundraising strategy has been developed.

The Transformation Manager will translate that strategic intent into delivery by designing and initiating an implementation programme that supports a shift to a more predictable, sustainable income model, expands our contactable database, enhances supporter experience, and delivers £30m for 100 houses as part of our housing capital appeal.

Through direct programme management and embedding new delivery approaches, this role will support Crisis to transition to new operational models and achieve long‑term income goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a programme that transitions the organisation to a sustainable income model.
  • Grow a contactable database of supporters and improve supporter experience.
  • Lead the development and execution of content and contact plans.
  • Deliver £30m for the housing capital appeal in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Embed a new approach to delivery across teams to support operational shifts.
  • Monitor programme progress, manage risk, and ensure successful delivery.

About You

You’re proactive and collaborative, skilled at designing and initiating ways of working that motivate colleagues and galvanise around programme goals.

You have proven programme management experience, can assess programme status, effectively manage risk, and unlock successful delivery.

You are forward‑thinking and able to deploy sustainable solutions that shift an organisation toward desired impact.
