Role Overview

This role involves building relationships with existing and new corporate donors to secure material donations for the Crisis at Christmas centres in London.

Each year we source gifts in kind ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries.

Responsibilities

  • Research potential donors and develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Communicate with large corporate companies and manage ongoing donor relationships.
  • Coordinate volunteers and oversee the annual community donations drive.
  • Maintain accurate data records using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Share Point.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and adapt plans in response to unexpected changes.
  • Support hands‑on, manual tasks as required during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous fundraising, project or event coordination, or marketing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data processing accuracy.
  • Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Pro‑active, positive attitude and willingness to work hands‑on.
  • Contract & Location

Fixed‑term contract from 9 September 2026 to 27 February 2027, based at Canning Town Warehouse, Unit4 SEGRO Park, London E164ES.

Three days per week onsite.

The role covers the Crisis at Christmas project, running from mid‑December to the end of January each year.
