We are looking for a talented and experienced developer with experience in Finance processes within Investment Banking for one of our global investment banking clients.

Primary tasks include:

  • Designing and developing responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React 18 and TypeScript for trading desks and risk reporting teams.
  • Building and maintaining real-time dashboards displaying live market data, PnL, and risk metrics — handling WebSocket data feeds efficiently.
  • Creating reusable component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across multiple front-office applications.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code with proper unit and integration tests; participating in peer code reviews.
  • Using Git for version control — branching strategies, pull requests, and maintaining a clean commit history.
  • Using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted tools to improve coding speed and quality; staying current with AI tooling trends relevant to front-end development.
  • Working in an Agile/Scrum team, attending sprint planning, and delivering features iteratively.
  • Collaborating with the design team and other engineers to identify usability concerns.

Skill sets required:

  • Strong experience with front-end web technologies like React 18, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Openfin, responsive design, Redux Toolkit, AG Grid, Storybook, Material UI, GraphQL, WebSocket / REST API consumption, SQL — queries, joins, window functions.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development workflows (e.g. using AI to write tests, refactor code, generate boilerplate).
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum, Jira & Confluence.
  • Experience in participating in the end-to-end development lifecycle in a rigorous test-driven software development environment.
  • Experience in developing and delivering scalable applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Very desirable: Python & Java.
  • Possesses a good understanding of structured products, exotics, and derivatives pricing.
  • Follows clean code principles.
  • Experience of working on Risk management reporting UI.
