We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Market Risk and regulatory reporting to support critical initiatives across Global Markets Risk (RRA). This role will focus on delivering high-quality data analysis, reconciliation and regulatory reporting solutions, with particular emphasis on FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk data, sensitivities and reporting frameworks, along with the ability to work across risk, front-office and technology teams to drive accurate and compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze and document business and data requirements for regulatory risk reporting initiatives
  • Support delivery of FRTB-related programs, including SA (Standardized Approach) and IMA (Internal Models Approach) where applicable
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation and validation across risk systems and reporting layers
  • Define and document data mappings, transformations and lineage for risk factors and sensitivities
  • Create clear acceptance criteria, test cases (SIT/UAT) and support validation activities
  • Work closely with Risk, Front Office and Technology teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
  • Identify and resolve data quality and reconciliation issues across systems
  • Contribute to improving risk reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets / Market Risk
  • Hands-on experience with FRTB frameworks: Standardized Approach (SA) (mandatory), Internal Models Approach (IMA) (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of risk sensitivities and risk factors, market risk data and calculations, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reconciliation and validation
  • Ability to define test cases, SIT/UAT support and acceptance criteria
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Domain Experience (Critical)

  • Experience across Global Markets products, including Rates, Credit, Equities, Derivatives
  • Strong understanding of risk and PnL workflows, trade lifecycle and reporting processes
  • Exposure to working with Market Risk teams, Front Office stakeholders, Technology and data teams

Technical & Data Skills (Preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python basics)
  • Understanding of data models, lineage and transformation logic
  • Experience working with large datasets and enterprise data platforms
  • Familiarity with risk data warehouses or reporting platforms

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in regulatory change or transformation programs
  • Exposure to data governance and control frameworks
  • Prior experience in global banking environments
  • Understanding of risk analytics platforms (e.g., Quartz, SecDB, Athena or similar)
