We’re looking for a proactive, organised Legal Secretary to join our Corporate Transactional team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment and wants to be close to high-profile, real-world business deals - no previous legal experience required.
You’ll be supporting senior team members who work on a wide range of interesting corporate matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, company reorganisations and restructures. You don’t need to understand the legal detail — we’ll support you with that — but you will play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Managing diaries and organising meetings, calls, travel and lunches
- Being a friendly, professional point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Helping prepare for meetings (locating documents, making light edits, organising packs)
- Providing admin support around transaction completions
- Keeping on top of multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy, collaborative team
If you like variety, responsibility, and being trusted to get things done, you’ll feel right at home!
About you
You don’t need a legal background to succeed in this role. We’re keen to hear from experienced administrators, secretaries, or office professionals who are organised, confident communicators and comfortable juggling priorities. We’re particularly interested in people who:
- Are naturally organised and detail-focused
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Enjoy working with people and delivering great, empathetic client service
- Are adaptable, curious and keen to learn
- Like being part of a team and contributing ideas
In return, you’ll join a friendly, supportive group where your contribution is genuinely valued. You’ll have the chance to develop new skills, get exposure to complex and interesting work, share ideas, and take part in our firm-wide social events and activities.
