Our client, a successful and growing accountancy practice is recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join the rural accounts and advisory team at the firm’s Banbury office. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified, and/or CTA. This growing firm will offer a salary in line with experience with regular reviews, and a good benefits package including private medical cover and medical cash plan, flexible working policy, enhanced maternity, death in service cover and a range of voluntary benefits.
The varied client base includes landed estates, farms and rural businesses, and equine and bloodstock. As Accounts & Tax Manager you will provide bespoke accountancy and tax planning services to each client. The successful candidate will also play a key role in developing the team, both through business development and staff development.
As Accounts & Tax Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a portfolio of rural clients which will involve significant internal liaison, meetings with clients, approve technically robust tax computations, identify technical issues, deliver complex tax advisory outcomes, maintain technical knowledge, and provide exceptional client service in line with the firm’s Service Charter.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge and deliver this to clients through robust, effective advisory reporting and guidance.
