Job Description
This is an opportunity for an AAT Qualified candidate to join a well-established practice, in providing a high quality service to clients in the Corporate Team and to contribute to the overall development of the practice.
Duties will include the following:
- Preparing client accounts (statutory and unincorporated), tax returns (Corporation tax and partnership business tax computations) to meet deadlines
- Identifying points for the manager or partner to raise with clients and to raise potential for additional services
- Finalising paperwork for dispatch to client or HMRC
- Liaising with clients to obtain the relevant information for their accounts , acting in a proactive manner and ensuring attention to detail and effective questioning of client
- Monitoring own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets
- Recording own chargeable time and ensure maximum recovery
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to Attend courses that are appropriate to their role, as well as assisting clients with ad-hoc matters. Teamwork will pay an important part in this role.

Candidates need to be able to prepare incorporated and unincorporated accounts quickly and efficiently deal with related tax returns. They must be computer litereate and have a "can-do" attitude to problem-solving skills. An in-depth knowledge of accounts preparation, and accounting systems is required.
Qualifications Required
AAT or equivalent qualification/experience
