Are you a Business Development professional who thrives on variety, enjoys building relationships and loves turning ideas into action? We're looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing Business Development & Marketing team at Cripps. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in a professional services environment who enjoys working across pitches, events, campaigns, market research and strategic business development initiatives. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping our lawyers win new work, strengthen client relationships and drive growth across the firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the delivery of sector and practice business development plans
  • Create compelling pitches, proposals and presentations that help us win new business
  • Develop marketing collateral, credentials, website content and thought leadership materials
  • Conduct market and client research to identify opportunities and trends
  • Support the planning and delivery of client events and marketing campaigns
  • Analyse business development activity, report on performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and develop our CRM, pitch library and business development resources
  • Work closely with partners, lawyers and the wider marketing team across the firm

We're looking for someone who has:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Business Development or Marketing role within a professional services firm (legal experience would be highly advantageous)
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience producing high-quality pitches and business development content
  • Strong commercial awareness and an interest in understanding clients and markets
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Experience using CRM and marketing technology (or the ability to learn quickly)
