Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking up to four dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our highly supportive Access and Inclusion Faculty.
You will work with teachers to:
- Support learning and raise attainment of students with a range of educational needs.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and self-esteem across the classroom and wider school.
- Deliver and evaluate small group interventions under the guidance of the SENDCO.
- Support students with sensory or physical impairments (including personal care, if required – training provided).
- Provide exam access support and contribute to pastoral care, working closely with professionals and families.
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Have a good general education, including GCSEs (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
- Are proactive, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting students with a range of needs (e.g., dyslexia, ASD, ADHD).
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals.
- Are committed to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., TA training, ELSA, NVQ Level 2/3, experience with SEND) are desirable.
