Meadow High School is a Special Needs School for students aged 11-19 years with moderate and complex needs including challenging behaviour and autism. The school has received a good OFSTED report. We are expanding and opening a new site at Northwood Road. This role will provide caretaking for the school site, ensuring premises are kept to the approved standard and providing a clean, secure environment. The role will begin at Royal Lane (Hillingdon) site before moving to the new site after opening. A full induction and training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing caretaking services for the school site.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of premises.
- Assisting in lock‑up and opening duties (5:45 am to 6:30 pm).
- Supporting school staff and students as required.
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
Annual leave must be taken during school closures only (e.g., full winter break).
Applicants should have:
- GCSEs or equivalent (essential).
- Sound experience in general maintenance and repairs (essential).
- Ability to perform physical demands such as substantial walking, heavy lifting and moving items (essential).
