Work pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks)

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 08:15am – 3:15pm (30 minutes break)

We are looking to appoint a committed, energetic, and enthusiastic person to join our team of support staff within The Grove SEND provision and work with our exceptionally inquisitive children. The post involves working as part of the Inclusion Team to provide expertise and support for pupils with SEND, in particular Autism, with support from the class teacher/Inclusion Lead/team. It also includes securing accurate assessments of the children’s SEND needs in line with their EHCP and encouraging pupils to become independent learners by ensuring their safety and welfare through the support and inclusion of pupils in all aspects of Ruislip Gardens Primary School.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has the drive, determination, and enthusiasm to enhance the learning experience and assessments across The Grove SEND provision.
  • Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills, and has the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Has a commitment to working in partnership alongside parents, external professionals and the local community.
  • Is willing to undertake personalised CPD/training in order to support the children they work with.
