Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We are now seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our highly supportive Access and Inclusion Faculty.
Responsibilities:
- Support learning and raise attainment of students with a range of educational needs.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and self‑esteem across the classroom and wider school.
- Deliver and evaluate small group interventions under the guidance of the SENDCO.
- Support students with sensory or physical impairments (including personal care, if required – training provided).
- Provide exam access support and contribute to pastoral care, working closely with professionals and families.
Qualifications:
- Have a good general education, including GCSEs (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
- Are proactive, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting students with a range of needs (e.g., dyslexia, ASD, ADHD).
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals.
- Are committed to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., TA training, ELSA, NVQ Level 2/3, experience with SEND) are desirable.
