Salary information: Scale 3, £25,789 - £26,157 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Work pattern: 36 hours per week, Term time +5 INSET days + 3 days during school holidays to be agreed in advance every year with the Headteacher (39.6 weeks)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional and highly organised Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join our dedicated support team. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines front‑of‑house reception duties with a wide range of administrative responsibilities, helping to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school office.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working within a busy reception, office or customer service environment.
  • Friendly, professional and welcoming, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent administrative and record‑keeping skills.
  • Able to work independently, use initiative and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Confident communicating professionally with pupils, parents, staff, governors and external agencies.
  • Experienced in maintaining accurate records and working with databases, ideally including SIMS.
  • Comfortable managing telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries in a busy school office.
  • Able to support admissions, wrap‑around care, after‑school clubs and general school administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in learning and using new technologies.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Dedicated to supporting the vision, values and culture of the school.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
