Would you be interested in joining our team of School Meals Supervisory Assistants to look after the children during the lunch period ensuring that the children enjoy safe and happy lunchtimes. Our team supervise the children with their dinners or assist them with packed lunches.
Duties include:
- Ensuring that the dining environments remain clean, calm and safe
- Lifting tables, setting up and taking down of tables
- Making sure that any spills are cleaned up promptly
- Supervising the children in our play areas
- Supporting traditional games
A good level of spoken English is required to communicate effectively with pupils and staff. School Meals Supervisory Assistants are expected to interact with the children while continuing to be vigilant, ensuring safe play. The ability to work as part of a team is essential to the role and we are looking for an individual who is prepared to support our kind and caring ethos towards both the children and other members of staff.
You will be joining an established team of friendly, hardworking and dedicated lunchtime staff committed to ensuring that the children enjoy lunchtimes and stay safe.
