Deanesfield Primary School is seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants with a passion for teaching to provide classroom support to start September 2026 or ASAP. Duties will involve providing general support for teachers, running club activities, as well as working with individuals or small groups of pupils.
We are seeking applications from either graduates wishing to gain experience in the classroom before embarking on a teacher training route, or experienced teaching support staff who have proven employment in this capacity. In exceptional circumstances we will consider a reduced contract (0.8) for candidates completing a foundation degree course in education, or appropriate studies in further education.
