A Dynamic & Rewarding Classroom Role! Are you an experienced, confident, and adaptable educator looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? The Breakspear School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide high-quality PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover across our wonderful school. This is a vital role within our team. You will be responsible for leading whole classes independently, ensuring that high standards of learning and engagement continue seamlessly when class teachers are taking their designated PPA time. Covering classes from EYFS right through to Key Stage 2, you will have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on children across the entire school community.
What the Role Involves:
- Classroom Leadership: Confidently leading and managing whole classes independently, delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Whole-School Versatility: Seamlessly adapting your teaching style as you move between different year groups, from our youngest learners to our Year 6 pupils.
- Positive Behavior Management: Maintaining a happy, purposeful, and structured learning environment using the school's positive behavior policies.
- Collaborative Feedback: Working closely with class teachers to feedback on pupil progress, learning outcomes, and any marking required following the session.
