We are expanding our breakfast and after school provision to support families and improve continuity of care for our pupils.

We are seeking a reliable, caring and energetic Play Assistant to join our wraparound team. You will work with class staff and club leaders to provide safe, stimulating and inclusive childcare before and after the school day. • Support inclusion: adapt activities for pupils with SEND and EAL needs; work with key staff to follow individual plans where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour, modelling the school’s values and rules.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy environment and report any safeguarding, welfare or health and safety concerns to the club leader/designated safeguarding lead.
  • Work as part of a team, participating in staff briefings and occasional training.

The ideal candidate will

  • Have some supervisory experience within an after school or holiday club setting.
  • Have Food & Hygiene Level 2 (training will be provided).
