Contract: Permanent. Work pattern: 22.5 hours per week, term time (38 weeks). Hours: Monday–Friday, 8.30 am–1.00 pm. Salary: £15,466–£15,687 per annum (dependent on experience). Start date: ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with parents/carers and support pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor attendance data, identify patterns and work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to support improvements.
- Work with vulnerable pupils and those with SEND to address barriers to attendance.
- Communicate effectively and handle sensitive situations with professionalism, resilience and discretion.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a school or similar setting.
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
- Understanding of attendance barriers and support for vulnerable pupils and those with SEND.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage sensitive situations.
