We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, based in our Hove office. This is a mid‑senior level role with responsibility for producing high‑quality financial information to support decision‑making across the business. The role will suit a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and hands‑on experience using Sage, who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing insight into performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls, while supporting continuous improvement across finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
- Ownership of month‑end close processes and reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management, working closely with budget holders
- Providing clear, concise financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholders
- Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
- Hands‑on use of Sage for core accounting activities
- Supporting audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Assisting with ad‑hoc financial modelling and business analysis as required
