Crimtan is a pioneering programmatic digital marketing company equipped with proprietary technology that empowers us to execute intelligent, targeted, and high-performing omni-channel campaigns for globally recognised brands. Established in the UK in 2009, we are currently experiencing rapid growth, with offices in New York, London, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Gijon in Spain. Our vision is simple: To transform digital advertising into meaningful individual experiences.
The Role
As a Senior Creative Executive, you will play a key hands-on role in elevating the quality, craft, and execution of Crimtan’s creative output across accounts in the US, Europe, and MENA. Based full time in our Hove office, this role is designed for an experienced creative with a sharp eye for detail, strong design judgement, and confidence across both static and motion disciplines. This is a delivery-led role with senior expectations. You will spend the majority of your time producing high-quality digital and motion assets, acting as a trusted creative authority for account teams, and helping to raise execution standards through example. While this role does not involve line management, you will influence quality, consistency, and best practice through your craft, collaboration, and professionalism. A working understanding of programmatic advertising and campaign strategy is important for this role. You will be expected to feel comfortable engaging with persona-led thinking, audience context, and performance-driven objectives, using this understanding to inform creative decisions and execution. A strategic mindset is encouraged - you will be expected to understand campaign objectives, audiences, and performance signals - but this role is not responsible for owning creative strategy. Instead, you will translate insight and direction into clear, well-crafted creative executions that perform.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Delivery & Craft Excellence (Core Focus)
- Deliver high-quality digital and motion creative for programmatic campaigns, with a strong emphasis on craft, accuracy, and executional excellence.
- Apply a deep understanding of design structure, visual hierarchy, layout, and motion pacing to ensure creative is clear, engaging, and fit for purpose.
- Confidently use Photoshop and After Effects to produce, refine, and elevate creative assets and templates.
- Take ownership of complex or high-visibility creative tasks, acting as an escalation point for quality and execution challenges.
- Maintain consistently high standards across all outputs, ensuring work is accurate, polished, and client-ready.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, identifying and resolving issues related to layout, typography, animation, alignment, timing, and consistency.
- Support quality assurance by proactively checking creative before delivery and flagging potential issues early.
- Help lift overall creative quality by setting a strong example of best practice in design, motion, and delivery.
- Champion Crimtan brand guidelines, compliance standards, and creative best practice across supported accounts.
- Work closely with Client Services, Insights, and Campaign teams to deliver cohesive creative solutions.
- Act as a confident creative point of authority within account teams, able to explain and justify creative decisions, messaging choices, and creative rationale in the context of programmatic campaigns and performance objectives.
- Support external presentations and creative reviews with clients where appropriate.
- Contribute to persona-informed creative work, applying audience insight to execution, messaging, and visual storytelling (without owning persona or strategy development).
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, new formats, and evolving creative approaches within the department.
- Support conversations around creative capability, tools, and workflow improvements through practical input and feedback.
- Help champion improvements to templates, motion approaches, and execution standards, without formal ownership of global systems.
Experience Required
- 2-4 years’ experience in digital design, motion, or creative production roles.
- Strong experience in digital design and motion roles, ideally within programmatic, advertising, or performance-driven environments.
- Proven confidence and expertise in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (essential).
- Excellent understanding of design fundamentals, including hierarchy, composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Strong motion sensibility, with the ability to refine animation, pacing, and transitions to enhance clarity and impact.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a consistent QA mindset.
- Comfortable working across multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining quality.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Comfortable contributing to copywriting and messaging, including headlines, body copy, and variations for digital and programmatic formats.
Useful but Not Essential
- Experience with HTML5 or dynamic creative production tools.
- Familiarity with performance metrics such as CTR, VTR, CVR, and creative fatigue, and how they inform execution.
- Experience adapting or writing copy for different personas, audiences, or funnel stages.
- Exposure to persona-based creative or insight-led design approaches.
- Experience contributing to innovation, workflow improvements, or creative experimentation.
