My client is currently seeking a PMO Senior Project Manager to lead software development and support projects of varying scale, including large, long-term programmes. You'll ensure successful delivery across scope, quality, cost, time, and risk, in line with their PMO Governance standards. You'll also act as a role model within the team, aligning with company goals and promoting high performance. The role includes mentoring and line management of junior team members, with responsibility for regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and objective setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery across time, budget, and scope.
- Lead project planning and execution with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets and provide accurate financial forecasts.
- Identify, manage, and communicate project risks and issues, maintaining RAID logs.
- Use the client's delivery models and tools (e.g. MS Project, Azure DevOps) to manage progress.
- Chair project meetings and represent projects at customer steering boards when required.
- Contribute to internal PMO improvements and promote best practices.
- Lead, motivate, and guide project teams throughout delivery.
