About the role

Crimson is the AI case intelligence platform for litigation and arbitration. We help disputes teams at leading law firms understand large case files, test arguments and produce high-quality work grounded in the full matter record. Crimson was founded by litigators and engineers because generic AI does not understand the factual, procedural and strategic context of a complex dispute. We are building technology around the way excellent litigators actually work—and aiming to make Crimson indispensable on the world's most demanding matters.

As a Litigation Specialist, you will sit between our customers, product and commercial teams. You will help law firms use Crimson successfully, translate litigation workflows into product decisions and represent the practitioner perspective as we expand in the UK and US. This is a hands-on role for a lawyer who wants to help build the future of the profession.

What you'll do

  • Lead onboarding and training — run engaging sessions that get new customers confident and productive with Crimson from day one
  • Drive adoption through pilots and implementation — partner with firms during rollout to embed the product into live matters and prove value early
  • Be the trusted first point of contact — field customer questions and resolve support issues quickly, working with product and engineering where needed
  • Build deep relationships — earn the trust of litigators, partners, and innovation teams, becoming a familiar and credible presence across the firms you support
  • Shape the product — translate practitioner insight and customer feedback into clear product requirements and work closely with engineers through delivery
  • Represent Crimson externally — show up in a credible, polished, and commercially effective way that reflects the calibre of our customers
  • Own operational priorities — take the lead on high-impact work that helps the business run smoothly and scale

What we're looking for

  • Proven litigation experience at a Magic Circle, White Shoe, or equivalent firm
  • Credible with senior litigators and able to speak their language
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable owning work without close supervision
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Excited by the idea of joining a startup and doing work that is broader than pure legal practice

Especially useful

  • Experience on large, document-heavy or cross-border commercial disputes
  • Experience introducing legal technology or improving knowledge and delivery processes within a firm
  • Familiarity with the buying and information-security requirements of major law firms

The opportunity

Crimson is backed by Y Combinator and other leading investors and is already used by litigation teams in the UK and US. You will join a small, multidisciplinary team with direct access to customers, real ownership and the chance to help build a defining company in legal AI. This is a full-time role based in London or New York. We work together in person at least four days a week and offer a competitive salary plus meaningful equity.
