A prominent client in London is seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager to their team. This role is responsible for leading procurement activities within the People Category, striving for commercial excellence and delivering a customer-centric service. The People Category encompasses areas such as Consultancy, Professional Services, Contingent Labour, Learning & Development, and Healthcare. The position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Services and the leads of the People Pillar.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end procurement processes, from requirements gathering and market analysis, through to organising market engagement events.
- Supporting the development of procurement strategies.
- Overseeing the full procurement cycle up to contract handover.
- Ongoing contract administration and supplier relationship management.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated Commercial Management expertise.
- Possession of active Security Clearance (SC).
- Comprehensive procurement knowledge and experience.
- Proven stakeholder management skills within matrix organisations.
- Experience cultivating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (including cross-government, e.g. xHMG).
- Public sector sourcing proficiency, with understanding of PCR15 and PA23.
- Proficient in using e-sourcing software such as Jaggaer and comparable platforms.
