About mpro5
mpro5 is a frontline operations platform trusted by multi‐site organisations including Tesco, Compass Group, Northern Rail, and Booker Group. We help operations teams replace disconnected spreadsheets, paper forms, and siloed apps with one connected platform that covers tasks, compliance, communication, and learning. We are listed on the London Stock Exchange and operating across the UK and internationally, with customers in food safety, facilities management, retail, and rail. Our model is Software AND a Service — we do not just sell licences, we implement, configure, and support our customers from day one.
This is a genuinely exciting moment to join. We are scaling our marketing function and building the team that will take us into our next phase of growth.
The Role
We are looking for a marketing generalist who is equally comfortable writing a LinkedIn post, setting up a HubSpot workflow, and analysing campaign performance. This is a hands‐on role covering the full marketing mix — content, CRM, social media, and paid ads — with real ownership from day one. You will report to Fred Whipp, our CRO, and work closely with our commercial team to ensure our marketing activity supports pipeline generation, supports sales enablement, and builds the mpro5 brand in our core verticals.
The right person for this role is a strong marketing executive ready to step up, or a junior marketing manager who wants a bigger canvas. You do not need to be a specialist in everything, but you do need to be genuinely capable across a range of channels and curious enough to learn fast.
What You Will Do
- Content & Social Media
- Plan and create content across our channels — LinkedIn, website, email, and beyond — that reflects the mpro5 voice and supports our go‐to‐market messaging.
- Manage our organic social presence, primarily LinkedIn, with a clear understanding of what works for a B2B audience.
- Work with subject matter experts internally to turn customer stories, product updates, and industry insights into compelling content.
- Support the production of case studies, one‐pagers, blog posts, and other sales enablement assets.
- CRM & Marketing Automation
- Own and manage our HubSpot CRM from a marketing perspective — lists, workflows, sequences, and reporting.
- Build and optimise email marketing campaigns and nurture flows that support pipeline at every stage of the funnel.
- Keep our contact database clean, segmented, and up to date, working alongside the sales team on lead handoff and attribution.
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics: open rates, click‐through, MQL volume, campaign ROI.
- Paid Advertising
- Support the management of our paid social campaigns, primarily LinkedIn, including audience targeting, ad copy, and performance monitoring.
- Work with the CRO and any external agencies to plan, test, and iterate on paid ads across ToFu, MoFu, and BoFu.
- Understand the basics of campaign structure, bidding, and optimisation well enough to have an informed view on what is working and what is not.
- Commercial Support
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand prospect pain points and ensure marketing materials address them.
- Help build and maintain sales enablement content — battle cards, vertical‐specific one‐pagers, and presentation decks.
- Support outbound prospecting through targeted campaigns, including ABM list building and personalised outreach sequences.
- Contribute to our event and webinar programme as the team builds it out.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience
- 1 to 3 years in a B2B marketing role, ideally in SaaS, tech, or a services business with a complex sales cycle.
- Hands‐on HubSpot experience — you have used it to build workflows, manage lists, and report on campaign performance.
- Experience running or supporting LinkedIn paid campaigns — you understand audience targeting and can interpret performance data.
- A track record of producing written content that is clear, purposeful, and not generic — blog posts, emails, social copy, or case studies.
- Comfortable with analytics — you know how to pull a report, spot what matters, and make a recommendation based on it.
- Skills
- Strong writer with an instinct for B2B messaging — plain, direct, and persuasive without being corporate.
- Organised and self‐directed — you manage your own workload and do not need to be chased.
- Collaborative — you work well with sales, product, and senior stakeholders, and you understand that marketing exists to support commercial outcomes.
- Comfortable learning new tools and iterating quickly — this is not a role where you will execute the same playbook indefinitely.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in one or more of our target verticals: food safety, facilities management, retail operations, or rail.
- Familiarity with Google Ads or Meta paid campaigns alongside LinkedIn.
- Experience with ABM (account‐based marketing) approaches.
- Exposure to event or webinar marketing.
What We Offer
- A real marketing role with genuine ownership — not just execution of someone else's plan.
- Hybrid working: 2 days per week in our Tunbridge Wells office, the rest remote.
- A close‐knit, growing team where your work is visible and has direct commercial impact.
- The opportunity to shape how mpro5 builds its marketing function at a pivotal point in the company's growth.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
