The Role

You’ll play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery (including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration). You’ll also carry out maintenance requests, including minor plumbing, electrical, joinery, painting, tiling work and any other maintenance work required. You will work closely with your colleagues in Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure the hotels are kept in an excellent state of repair.

In addition to having previous experience in a similar role, we look for a Maintenance Technician to be a strong team player who has strong attention to detail and an absolute commitment to the craft. You’ll have a can-do attitude and be able to respond flexibly to different guest requests and situations. Finally, you’ll have a good command of the English language.

The Person

You’ll play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum working condition by carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery — including heating, power, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You’ll also attend to maintenance requests covering a range of tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, and general repair work.

Collaboration is essential — you’ll work closely with colleagues across departments, especially Front Office and Housekeeping, to ensure the hotel remains in excellent condition and that guests enjoy a seamless experience.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role (ideally in hospitality)
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to a range of situations and guest needs
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
