The Role
As a Goods Receiver, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all hotel stock to ensure efficient availability, accurate records, and effective cost control in line with business requirements. You will oversee the procurement, receiving, storage, issuing, and monitoring of stock, ensuring that all goods are handled safely and stored appropriately. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage, Accounts, Housekeeping, and other departments to maintain accurate stock levels, minimise wastage, and support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
The Person
As well as having previous experience in a similar role as a Goods Receiver, we are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of stock control and delivery processes. You will have a proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and hotel departments. Finally, you will have a good understanding of food safety procedures, excellent communication skills, and a professional approach at all times.
