Oxbridge Summer Scholars is an academic programme held at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, designed to give high school students a real taste of life at two of the world’s top universities. Each summer, we welcome students from around the world to take part in rigorous academic streams, inspiring tutorials, and cultural activities that build confidence, critical thinking, and global perspectives.

Job Description: Oxbridge Summer Scholars Student Supervisors
We are currently seeking multiple Student Supervisors to join our Dec 2025 programme. It\'s a full-time in-person position, including working weekends and evenings.
- 8-20 Dec, Oxford
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
- Overall responsibility for the safeguarding of students and student behaviour
- Resident in college for all weeks of the programme plus an additional preparation day; eating meals in college with students and staff.
- Run timetabled evening activities and weekend excursions for students (with Programme Manager)
- Assist Programme Manager and Head of Programme with administrative tasks so OSS runs smoothly day-to-day (e.g. report student attendance from each seminar, print materials for tutors)
- Assist students’ arrivals and departures; show them to their rooms, help them settle in
- Taking initiative to deal with situations such as student illness; travel issues etc
- Monitor student whereabouts and curfew at 10pm each evening
- Capture daily photo/video content that can be used for our social media
- 24 hour emergency contact for students
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working with high school students preferable
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for enhanced DBS.
