Principal, A Levels, Greenwich Virtual Campus - Fully Remote

This is a full-time position, fully remote. We are not a traditional school, and we do not operate like one. We rethink what is possible, rebuild what is not working, and hold ourselves to a standard that compounds impact over time.

CGA is building a world-class online A-Level pathway and we are looking for the leader for our Greenwich virtual campus, supporting students in, or studying aligned to the northern hemisphere. This is not a role for someone who wants to replicate a traditional school in a digital window. We want someone who is genuinely excited by the frontier of online education: someone who sees the flexibility of the virtual world not as a limitation to manage, but as an extraordinary advantage to unlock for students.

The Campus Principal will take full ownership of their campus, including its culture, its people, its academic outcomes, and its community, and you will actively push the boundaries of what online education can be. You will lead in line with CGA’s mission, vision, and teaching expectations, modelling them in every decision you make and building a campus where they are genuinely lived. You will line-manage a team of Deans, Heads of Department, and a Campus Exams Liaison.

This is a role for someone who sees education as a craft, leadership as a service, every student as a VIP, and the virtual world as the most exciting classroom ever built. Someone who is energised not just by running what exists, but by imagining and building what comes next.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in senior educational leadership, with accountability for academic outcomes across multiple year groups, programmes and a team of staff.
• Deep familiarity with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum, including International GCSE and A-Level programmes.
• A track record of using data to drive academic improvement and intervening early when students or staff need support.
• Strong people leadership skills: you develop others, give honest feedback, and hold high standards without losing warmth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, staff, and senior leadership.
• A genuine belief in the power of online education and a track record of, or clear appetite for, pushing its boundaries. You do not see virtual learning as a compromise; you see it as an advantage.
• A personal commitment to CGA's standards: unlocking potential together, rethinking and rebuilding, and raising the bar to compound impact.
