An opportunity has become available for a History Educator to join us in building the world’s most comprehensive and effective IB History resource. This role may be either part‑time or full-time, and is fully remote, starting July/August 2026.
What This Role Is Responsible For:
- Ensuring that Revision Village develops the appropriate balance of content within IB History, and delivers a high degree of pedagogical excellence throughout our teaching videos and revision content.
- Reviewing IB History content (practice questions, solutions, and video explanations) created by our teams of video producers and question creator contractors to ensure that quality is in line with high expectations.
- Creating IB History study resources and materials.
- Creating, distributing, and monitoring content development assignments to the content creation teams.
- Measuring content performance using agreed metrics with key stakeholders, providing regular reporting on the process.
- Working with the Chief Product Officer, Head of Individuals and Societies, and other key stakeholders to develop content development protocols and strategies.
- Having an expert level of understanding of the IB History Curriculum, and the intricacies of question and curriculum development.
- Providing recommendations based on knowledge and research with regard to the best way forward for individual aspects of each project.
What Skills and Experience Are Required?
- 4+ Years Teaching IB History in a school environment (tutoring will not suffice).
- Deep understanding of the IB History curricula, including all Topics & Options.
- Ability to creatively produce content for our learners that will keep them engaged, challenged, and growing.
- IB History Examiner and/or workshop leader experience preferred.
