Criminon UK is looking for Volunteer Distance Learning Tutors to support prisoners through postal distance-learning courses. This is a home-based volunteer role, with course materials managed through Royal Mail rather than online.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reply to team emails promptly, where possible within 24 hours, excluding weekends.

Criminon UK is a national charity that has delivered distance-learning courses for prisoners and ex-offenders for more than 23 years. The charity’s courses cover literacy and learning, practical morals and drug awareness, with four courses accredited through LASER Learning Awards.

They are a secular charity that is independently managed and welcome anyone interested in tutoring, irrespective of age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religious or non-religious belief.
