Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer fantastic food and drink, cozy beds and a wealth of things to do. We offer an expansive range of benefits to help you make the most of life outside of work, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels heard and valued. We treat our guests like family, and we support our people the same way. Crieff Hydro is one of Scotland’s most iconic hospitality businesses, welcoming over 200,000 guests a year across our hotels, restaurants, bars and experiences. Recent major investments have seen our kitchens, restaurants and bars at Crieff Hydro transformed to provide an updated offering to our guests.

About the role: Due to the continuing growth of our spa and wider business, we’re excited to be expanding our talented team! As a Spa Receptionist at Crieff Hydro, you’ll be a key member of our great Spa team. Your organisation skills will make everyone else’s day run smoothly. As the face of the Spa, you’ll understand the importance of first impressions. You’ll manage the reservation systems, coordinate all telephone, written and email enquiries and resolve any guest issues. During quiet times on the reception desk, you’ll take the opportunity to get out into the resort, talk to our customers and promote the spa facilities and products.

Ideally, you’ll have worked in a hotel or spa style environment, or have a retail beauty background. As the face of the Spa you’ll be impeccably presented. You’ll have a great personality, be genuine, approachable and attentive. The ability to sell is a must, and you’ll enjoy working to exceed sales targets. You’ll be able to demonstrate a passion for high levels of customer service and attention to detail. You’ll have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

What we need from you:

  • Reception and booking system experience – with a knack for making people smile
  • Good Listener – we don’t make assumptions; we listen to what our guests have to say – the good and the bad
  • Team focus – there are no egos here, just hard‑working people who love creating memorable experiences for every guest
  • Ideas and openness – we’re up for doing things differently and will try (almost) everything once
  • Fun and easy to talk to – we’re looking for personality, not a corporate clone
  • Flexibility – there’s no problem you can’t fix

What you’ll get from us:

  • Live‑in Accommodation – On‑site, affordable housing with bills included may be available. Most rooms are single occupancy with an ensuite, though this isn’t guaranteed. Availability and rates (set by HMRC) can be discussed at interview.
  • Exclusive Discounts – Enjoy 30% off food, drinks and retail, discounted leisure membership and reduced rates on hotel activities.
  • Team Rate Hotel Stays – Take time to recharge with discounted stays at all of our hotels from just £30 per night – where will you explore next?
  • Refer a Friend Bonus – Earn up to £250‑£500 for each successful team member or manager you recommend to us.
  • Guest Mention Rewards – Earn £5 every time a guest gives you a positive shoutout in a review.
  • A Friendly & Supportive Team – Work in a fun, welcoming environment where team spirit and well‑being are a priority.
  • Career Progression – With seven hotels, multiple departments, and a wide range of roles, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and explore new career paths.
  • Wellbeing Support – Get 24/7 confidential support via the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme, covering mental health, finances and more.
