About the role: At the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, our purpose is simple: to create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime. Across our seven hotels, the Resort Sales team plays a vital part in shaping the guest experience before they even arrive. As a Reservations Advisor, you’ll be one of the first voices our guests hear - helping them plan their stay, answering questions, and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism, and personality our brand is known for. You’ll guide guests through their booking journey, tailoring recommendations to their needs and helping them build a stay that feels personal and exciting. Whether you’re answering calls, responding to emails, or chatting through other digital channels, you’ll make every conversation friendly, accurate, and efficient. You’ll also use your growing product knowledge to highlight experiences, upgrades, and activities that enhance each guest’s visit. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Focusing on mastering the core skills of the role, you’ll have clear opportunities to develop, grow, and progress through our structured learning pathway. Collaboration is a big part of what we do. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Resort Sales team and with on-site hotel teams to ensure guests receive consistent, seamless support from their first enquiry to their arrival. Most importantly, you’ll bring our values to life. You’ll Be Creative in tailoring guest stays, Be Curious in learning our products and systems, Be Thoughtful in every interaction, Be Positive in your approach, and Be You - bringing your own personality and warmth to the role.

What we need from you:

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the confidence to handle calls, emails, and digital enquiries like live chat and social media direct messages, professionally and warmly.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate, clear, and consistent across all channels.
  • A solutions‑focused mindset, able to stay calm and helpful even during busy periods.
  • A willingness to learn, from systems and processes to product knowledge and guest handling techniques.
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple enquiries in a busy environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Experience with Maestro PMS is a bonus but not essential.
