Be part of the family... We’re a family business through and through – family‑owned since 1868, family‑run, and with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer fantastic food and drink, cosy beds and a wealth of activities.

Crieff Hydro Hotel is set in a 900‑acre estate in Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self‑catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 on‑site activities – including a spa, leisure centre, horse‑riding centre and our famously exciting Action Glen.

About The Role: Our restaurants offer a variety of foods. Working with local suppliers, we’re committed to consistency of production using locally sourced products. If you’re excited about driving change, have a flair for all things food, and want to be part of a great team, looking to make your mark, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We’re recruiting multiple team members to join us in either our Terrace or Meikle restaurants. We’re also hiring one Production Chef to support the prep kitchen and banqueting team. These are full‑time roles (45 hours per week) and live‑in accommodation is available on site, with all bills included.

As Chef de Partie, you’ll motivate the commis chefs to prepare food for our restaurants. You’ll have an eye for quality, consistency and portion control. You’ll build good relationships with the front‑of‑house team to make sure our guests get exactly what they want, quickly. With input into our daily special menu, you’ll also give our Head Chef your ideas for changing the à‑la‑carte menu. A qualification in professional cookery is a plus, and relevant industry experience is essential.

What You’ll Get From Us:

  • £31,500 per annum plus a share of tips (estimated £2,000 per annum).
  • Live‑in accommodation – on‑site housing is available with bills included.
  • Free meals on shift – stay fuelled and focused with delicious staff meals while you work.
  • A friendly & supportive team – work in a fun, welcoming environment where team spirit and well‑being are a priority.
