About The Role: As Assistant Childcare Manager, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team, supporting the Childcare Manager in the day‑to‑day running of Big Country. You’ll combine hands‑on childcare delivery with team leadership, ensuring high standards, strong compliance and exceptional guest experiences. Your knowledge and commitment will ensure the effective daily management in accordance with all relevant legislation and Care Inspectorate requirements. Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance. Support ongoing training and development of your team. Motivate and inspire the team to create a welcoming environment and bring new ideas as we strive to improve.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience in a childcare leadership or senior practitioner role
  • Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and safeguarding practices
  • A recognised childcare qualification (or working towards one)
  • Experience managing or supporting teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • A positive, proactive and guest‑focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
