About The Role
No two days are the same at Crieff Hydro. From an intimate private dinner for five, to a wedding for 50, or a three-day conference for 500 – you’ll be at the heart of delivering events. You’ll work closely with the senior food and beverage management team, supporting the planning and smooth delivery of weddings, banquets, conferences, and private functions. Calm under pressure, you’ll bring a steady head to last-minute challenges, making sure our guests only see seamless service and memorable experiences. This role is full time (45 hours per week), with the option of live-in accommodation (single occupancy with ensuite, subject to availability). Live-in team members also enjoy access to our staff canteen with three free meals per day.
What We Need From You
- Events Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in food & beverage, ideally within hotels, and a solid background in events/banqueting.
- Organisation: Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail, able to juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
- Leadership: Confidence in motivating and supporting a busy team to deliver excellent service at scale.
- Calm under pressure: A steady, solutions-focused approach when things get busy or unexpected issues arise.
- Passion for hospitality: Energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for every guest.
