Be part of the Family. We’re a family business through and through – family owned since 1868, family run and with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer fantastic food and drink, cozy beds and a wealth of things to do.
We offer an expansive range of benefits to help you make the most of life outside of work, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels heard and valued. We treat our guests like family, and we support our people the same way. If you’re someone who lives our values of Be Creative, Be Curious, Be Thoughtful, Be Positive and Be You, you’ll fit right in.
About the role: At the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, our purpose is simple: to create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime. Across our seven hotels, the Resort Sales team plays a vital part in shaping the guest experience before they even arrive. As a Resort Sales Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of this journey - supporting our advisors, guiding daily operations, and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism, and personality our brand is known for.
You’ll act as the key link between the Resort Sales Advisors and the Resort Sales Managers, stepping beyond the day-to-day responsibilities of an advisor to help keep the department running smoothly. From assisting guests with planning their stays and tailoring bookings to their preferences, to upselling experiences that elevate their visit, you’ll ensure every conversation is personal, efficient, accurate, and positive.
Your role goes far beyond guest engagement. You’ll take on essential operational duties, including supporting or covering the Resort Sales Managers when required, handling escalated complaints with confidence, and helping to shape daily operational plans. You’ll update staff rotas, prepare and deliver team briefs, and play an active part in training new and existing team members. Through regular quality checks, coaching, and on-the-floor support, you’ll help maintain high standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaboration will be a big part of your day. You’ll work closely with external partners, assist with third-party bookings, and manage our automated worker by keeping key spreadsheets and processes up to date. You’ll also upload guest satisfaction surveys, analyse reports, and support the implementation of operational changes that enhance the pre-arrival experience.
Most importantly, you’ll lead by example. You’ll inspire your team to live the values of the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels - Be Creative, Be Curious, Be Thoughtful, Be Positive, and Be You - ensuring these values shine through in every guest interaction and every internal collaboration.
What we need from you:
- A confident, supportive approach to coaching others, with the ability to motivate the team and help them grow through clear guidance and on-the-floor support.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and ensure rotas and daily operations run smoothly.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards across all guest interactions and internal processes.
- Confidence in handling escalated guest issues or complaints calmly, professionally, and with a solutions-focused mindset.
- A good head for numbers, reporting, and systems - comfortable analysing data, interpreting performance insights, and using tools like spreadsheets to support decision-making.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities to upsell or enhance the guest experience during pre-stay conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for briefing the team, coaching colleagues, and engaging with guests, partners, and stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning, sharing knowledge, and supporting training delivery for new and existing team members.
- The ability to work collaboratively across departments while also taking ownership when working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create seamless, memorable guest journeys before arrival.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience – ideally in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with Maestro PMS is a bonus.
- A commitment to living the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels values in everything you do: Be Creative. Be Curious. Be Thoughtful. Be Positive. Be You.
