Right in the heart of Peebles High Street, The Park is a bold and imaginative hotel that reflects the town’s textile heritage in its design and personality. With 25 bedrooms, a buzzing restaurant and bar, and our very own bakery, we’re proud to be a hub for locals and visitors alike.
About the role
We’ve got a brilliant team of three passionate chefs and we’re looking for a creative Chef de Partie to join them. Our weekly-changing Tryst dining menu gives you the chance to be hands-on with fine dining-style dishes and local, seasonal ingredients. You’ll work closely with the team on both à la carte dishes and events – no two weeks are the same, and that’s how we like it.
This is a unique opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, grow in your role, and be part of a kitchen that champions freshness, flavour, and flair. Whether it’s our restaurant, lounge, or special functions, you’ll help deliver quality dishes in a place where food matters.

We’re looking for someone with:
A professional cookery qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience at Chef de Partie level in a fresh food kitchen
A passion for seasonal, local produce
An appetite to learn and contribute to new menu ideas
Flexibility – shifts vary depending on business needs
